Direct and rapid physician access
Under this program, you have direct and rapid access to a physician participating in AccessMD, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Expedited appointments
     Your selection of AccessMD ensures that you will be given priority in scheduling appointments. In most cases you will be able to see your physician on the day of your call or the following day.

Less Waiting
     We appreciate that you time is valuable and that your primary interest is in spending more time with your physician, as opposed to waiting. With AccessMD, patients are usually seen immediately upon their arrival at the physician's office. If there is a small wait, many participating physicians have made arrangements for you to wait in an area apart from their normal waiting room.

Unhurried Appointments
     The AccessMD model allows physicians to take extra time with patients to discuss healthcare in an unhurried atmosphere. Take as long as you need to ask your questions, discuss your options and develop a healthcare plan for the future.

Mobile phone, beeper and fax access
     With AccessMD you will be able to communicate directly with your physician by calling his or her mobile phone or special pager. Many patients find that being able to actually talk with their physician about a healthcare concern or need not only provides enormous peace of mind, it can often prevent the need for an office visit. You will also be provided with his or her facsimile number, in the event you would like to forward documents or communicate with the physician in that way.

Office or home visits as required
     Many physicians participating in AccessMD are able to accommodate home or office consultations. Consult with your physician concerning his or her availability in this regard. Many participating providers also provide direct involvement in emergency room or hospital admissions, as available, helping to ensure that your medical condition is evaluated promptly and with his or her consultation.

Annual Membership Fees per Patient
     AccessMD is available for an annual fee. Members must maintain their regular health insurance while enrolled in the program.

Primary Client fee	$1,500 annually
Couple fee	$2,500 annually
Children (of a primary client)	$500*
* This special discounted price for children applies only when a parent is also enrolled as a primary client and the child and parent select the same physician. Children may be solely enrolled in AccessMD independent of their parent or parents and pay at the primary Client rate.

Patients may enroll in AccessMD at anytime during the year. Member fees are paid in advance. Patients may leave AccessMD at any time with 30 days notice, at which time all remaining fees for the program year will be refunded on a pro rated basis. Unless other written arrangements are made, services begin on the first day of the month following receipt of the annual membership fee and continue for twelve months thereafter.
